I. The Beginning
On February 17th of 2005, two friends under the arc names of Getaway and Prodigy came upon a realization. They were Asian1 and lacking in a great deal of sexiness. In order to remedy this situation they added a small delightful tag to their name and created the beginning of a great clan. I first met getaway and prodigy in their favorite hometown game of fister. A complete n00b2 at the time (yes some things have changed a little), I stumbled blindly along my arc path shooting wildly and occasionally killing myself through unknown reasons (I now know that it was most likely the Chinese communists, or possibly getaway, controlling my mind with 1337 powers but that’s beside the point). I was so nooby at the time that I played madwars. But anyway, I found sanction in a game called fister which I somehow managed to do well in maybe because I could sit behind those special walls and shoot without getting shot at or maybe it was my ability to leave my base grab the flag and complete a full flag run and cap the flag in a single spik3e that was most likely created by my monumental lag. No matter what the reason fister became my favorite game (yes better than madwars) and I became friends with getaway and prodigy. As I stated before, I was very noobular at the time so when getaway and prodigy began wearing an =LN= tag in front of their name I paid no attention. I figured it was their special little gay lovers thing and I didn’t feel comfortable participating. However, as I continued my arc career for about a week and entered a few new maps I began noticing a few people wearing the =LN= tag also. These first members included Deadparrot, World Peace, Pika4, and Gaho5, and I’m sure there were others but this is my story so stfu. Barring the possibility of a massive gay orgy I began to realize that the =LN= tag didn’t mean what I thought it meant. Through severe questioning of people I discovered that =LN= “a clan” except it was only a group of friends having fun. One fateful day, in a map that I can’t remember right now (no seriously I can’t remember and it’s pissing me off hella bad) i saw a funny looking fella named ickabod ask getaway to join his clan. I decided that I wanted to be cool too so I asked getaway as well (little did I know that these guys were freakin Asian, boy that coulda changed things). Maybe it was because of my sexiness, or maybe getaway had seen me on my smurf name of mage, or maybe it was because I had killed geta 673 times in a row that day* but whatever the reason getaway allowed me to join. Little did I know a young arcer was watching us and following our every move, similarly to the way our neighbors to the north hunt their moose (reaper). This young fella was none other than a younger, stupider asdlkj. Unfortunately he did not join our clan at the time. WE continued on as just a group of friends in the game of fister.
Current members in at the time: Divine, Ickabod, when did whiff join anybody? I think it was later.

II. The First Go Era
As we continued to gain respect, prodigy decided to leave our lovely little clan and go join some even asianer clan so he was gone. As the sole leader getaway took on a young apprentice as co-leader named whiff42o. Under their joint leadership our clan flourished and became a little more serious. At this time we may even have played that silly map called aplgo6. Whiff endeared himself to us by making the first LN website establishing us as a clan. This website was then demolished and replaced by a website created by the ex-member noxide. Fortunately now we have the most illustrious jinx making websites after websites for us and he owns those n00bs hella old school cuz our site rocks but at the time he was not alive and we were stuck with noxide’s. As we became slightly more serious we began to be infused with talent begun by the young whippersnapper known as Lain. This marked the beginning of LN’s journey through the real clan world.

III. The Launchpad’s Hair Era aka the xSa Era
The next era of our clan brought good news and bad. The good news is that with the new talent and some members that are no longer with us, we managed to grow in seriousness and respect. The bad news is that we found out what LP’s hair looks like11 and it scared pretty much everybody so bad we almost left right then and there7. Fortunately we stuck with LP in his time of need and now he has a beautiful comb over. At the time, we found ourselves a healthy rival clan and we seemingly cw’d them every day. They were none other than xSa under the leadership of Silverdragon and later Riddlebox. Due to =LN=’s unparalleled sexiness, despite our asian members xSa collapsed and become no more. This was extremely beneficial for LN due to the new members we received from xSa.

IV. The Hella Serious Era
The clan saw some serious trouble in the beginning of this era. Getaway in a period of depression left the clan for a short time8 and it seemed that everybody would follow. However, getaway rejoined us after less than a day in absence but he resigned as leader of =LN=. Whiff became leader but he turned over his responsibilities to J!nx due to his work requiring him to become inactive. Some new recruits bolstered the ranks and made instant impacts. Jinx took on a strapping young lad named Mortis as his co-leader and today these two are still doing a wonderful job(Well, not anymore). They carried LN through some troubled times in which Getaway left for good and I lost my way. I don’t know exactly what happened during this time because I removed myself from LN because I started sucking. I couldn’t kill, I couldn’t live, and I couldn’t do a complete cap run in a single spike. Special thank you to a good friend HomeKeyZ who helped me find my way and I rejoined LN just a little while later. When I came back I found we had been joined by a new applicant ctraltdel9 and soon after my return my two friends Red and BlackDope joined the clan putting us where we are today10. (Note: This is obviously NOT where we are today, but I am keeping the structure of Divine's original work for the most part. Love you, mean it.)

V. The End of the Mortis Era
Not too long after joining, Reddope decided to part ways and join TI for a short period of time. He, allegedly, was picked on in TI and quit that clan. He joined SI, quit joined uFo and later quit that to join AoA followed by MM. LN participated in the first NEAL league which was supposed to be for lower level clans where LN had a decent season. Epidemic from gA and triad from nBn both joined LN (for the first time) during this time. This era concluded when Mortis left to apply to TnT.

VI. The HomoKeyZ Era
A lot of shit went down during this time period. A big recruiting class that featured Iroc_Z, Predator the LN tag-a-long from the prestigious [AT] finally joined, and Frothygoat joined in late 2005 early 2006. Getaway became more active, Farallon joined, Mortis came back and Bob (toolbox) from VE joined. Neal2 ran during this time where LN came as close to a league title as it has in its league history, falling in the playoffs. Mortis left sometime during here and joined SI where he would remain until its death. Another surge of players joined as LN was nearing its peak of activity. Players such as Pyth0n from nBn, exist, daki, underoathx (dakol), and dream joined. Later on TheAnswer joined. LN participated in a league called NAL where they made the playoffs again. Rubix (rubdix) of sYn becomes the first honorary LN member. And for a third straight league, IAC, LN made the playoffs(side note LN had a dominating record against rival DGA) . And things starting going down hill..

VII. The People Start Jumping Ship Era
Yoshi applied to LN and Bob leaves LN to join SA. SA then died and Bob joined INVADER. He then left INVADER to join GI where he was later kicked. Epidemic and triad then leave to join uFo and Yoshi drops his app to join them. Getaway leaves LN to join sYn (well actually he only became a sYneo and then quit that and came back later on). HK and J!nx quit around the time where J!nx screenshots himself using reshack. HK joined CEO with Farallon (who also quit) and J!nx joined INVADER. With all of that backstabbing came…

VIII. The Triumvirate
For the first time in the history of this storied clan there was a three man leadership setup. Blackdope, Divine, and Predator seized power when the clan was left nearly dead. With this new leadership, LN signed another big recruiting class to help get the clan back in good shape. Valve, Titanium, Wave (from nBn), Psycho (from SA), Omega (from SA), and Hunter (from SA as well look at what we did to that clan) all joined. For the first time ever an ex-member (Getaway) was allowed to become an honorary LN member. Riddlebox also became an honorary member during this time. Then something big happened. CEO died (SHOCKER) sending confidence back to some of those who jumped ship to come back. So Epidemic, triad, geta, hk, fara, and j!nx all come back. Radar also joined and again LN seemed to be the most active clan around. Warwolf became honorary as well. NiN died so WW joined LN for 1 day and then quit to apply to TnT where he was denied, so joined the ultimate fallback clan, NoF. New comer Archon joined the clan during this time period as well. LN becomes part of a pre-APL tourney but they lose to a reformed NiN. During this tourney LN was also in NEAL3 and AML at the same time. So for a weekend or two there were 6 games a weekend for LN. Nextfear (nextbeer) joined LN honorary. Archon is accused of cheating and then booted out by Predator making him the first person to ever be booted out of the clan. Perdition from PX then joins LN.

IX. A Gap in History
There was then a period of LN history that has been forgotten to an extent. ARC died and Spark emerged as the premier ARC clone. LN went through a period of extreme inactivity until fall 2008. In fall 2008, many of the old members returned to sparking. Divine was vacationing in Africa around this time, but returned to Spark a short while later and picked up right where he left off. There were new members coming and leaving somewhat frequently during this time, but the core stayed the same. Sure, homekeyz joined =AoF= for a while, but he came back to LN as activity picked up. Members like LordzNipz joined among many others. There are too many to list. LordzNipz was booted by Predator for applying to SN.

X. USL Success
Prodigy(reddope) started a league named USL and LN was one of the first clans to join. Fiyatocs joined the Lagnaders during this time so I don't have to tell you how surprising the season was for us. Fiya PMd me one day asking if he could join the clan. As I just said, we were pretty desperate for members and I assumed he was a good player. Maybe I shouldn't have made that big of an assumption, but I took a shot with him. He proved to be an active, solid pilot both on the USL field(bench?) and in SFL(explained later). The Lagnaders were a .500 team winning some games they weren’t expected to and losing some as well. LN made the playoffs, but then a protest between SN and sYn shattered the dream season. sYn beat SN playing man down, but it was determined that this was against the rules. Therefore SN got the win instead of sYn, catapulting the Saucy Nipples into the Playoffs in front of the Lagnaders. LN protested of course, but with Tigerbite making the decisions for USL, LN was doomed. After the season LN still hung around, but some members like Blackdope that had become active for the league soon went inactive.

XI. USL Failure and the Establishment of SFL
This was a disaster. LN was not prepared for this league at all. In fact LN did not apply to join the league, but Fiya insisted that LN participate. LN took the place of one of Godzilla’s noob clans and struggled mightily. The only wins in the season came via forfeit and vs NoF. In fact the brightest spot of the season came in defeat against the defending champion MM team. It was perhaps one of the most Epic games that I have been a part of. Sebek (PerfectFlame) wrote an analysis of the game which does the game more justice than I can do. What made it particularly special was the fact that the LN lineup that was fielded was a legitimate LN lineup. LN allowed a few sYn members to join the roster prior to the season, but this was a mistake. The sYnners provided 0 wins and some of them failed to show to any games at all. Even with a very disappointing season, it was enjoyable. Also around this time, Predator, Divine, and Yoshi came up with Spark Football. It is a gameplay with rules and a specific map in which players play a game of football using Spark ships and weapons. It was mainly underground, but the word spread around and it became pretty popular. Maybe in the future an SFL league will run.

XII. Post USL and Today
LN decided to sit out SPL partly due to the fact that it was summer and partly due to the fact that activity was at an all time low. Looking back, LN may have fit in SPL considering many SPL teams forfeited a lot of games and games could be scheduled by the teams instead of the league. LN applied to join 3.M.S.L. in July of 2010 and it beings in August 2010. There seems to be a rivalry brewing between LN and oFn. oFn has many members around the same skill level as LN, except they are complete douchebags. Their roster consists of Godzilla, RedBaron, fr33k, burntfaceman, wispeel, cutlass, and a few others. Because this league consists of teams and clans, LN has decided to add some past LN members to the team roster. Launchpad and Failure joined the team as well as Phot0n and a league issued team member named tumor. We have no idea who tumor is, we just hope he isn’t a cancer to the team, pun intended. 3 Map Spark League will use two LN made maps in blockSassassin(Predator) and TWITCH(whiff420) as well as canvsusa. We hope to bring home our first of many titles in 3.M.S.L. Because this league will be run monthly (that’s the plan) there is potential for LN to establish a dynasty. Only oFn stands in our way. In addition to 3.M.S.L., the first ever LN fantasy football league will being once the 2010-2011 football season starts. The league includes Predator, Divine, Yoshi, bobgnarly, homekeyz, mortis, bone, Dario, sadlittleman, tigerbite, jasonkid, and Fiya. With a healthy mix of clan members, friends, and enemies, it is set up to be an exciting league.
